Now these tips are from the experiences I have gained taking photos of weddings as a San Diego wedding photographer. So this is not just hearsay or theory. But it is actual hands on experience of what works and what doesn’t work. So take note so you can take better shots.
The first thing one should consider is the lighting.Lighting plays a big part in taking photos because it can make it look good or totally ruin it. That is why you see photography studios spend so much on lighting. In taking outdoor shots, one should make sure that the sun is behind you. This is from years of taking photos of people during the day as a San Diego photographer. It must be suprising for you to learn that an overcast day is a great opportunity to take very nice photos.
Next is where you place the subject. For one you don’t have to have your whole subject in the shot. You must experiment with your shots and be creative. You can just focus on certain parts of your subject. Photography is an art form and if you think of it like that you will take great shots. Shooting photos for San Diego event photography has allowed me to experiment with different subject placement in photos. The more creative you can become the better the outcome of your shots would be.
So there you have just a couple of tips for better picture taking. There are more tips out there. But these two tips will really of big help to your photographs and you will love the outcome.Yes, it may just be for fun and for some reminiscing in the past. But it does not mean that they should not be great photos.
